WebOct 2, 2024 · @Harry: to correctly value gilts you have to understand some stuff about the "clean" vs. "dirty" price, which is related to some details about how bonds are traded: there isn't a simple "ex divi" date when whoever owns it gets to collect the whole coupon, but a sort of gentlemens' agreement to pro-rata share the accrued interest.
