It's truly awful they did it that way, because some the chapters themselves do a great job expanding on characters (you get more background on Two and Cent, and on Zero and Michael). WebI would say based on my experience that you should not play Drakengard 1. Drakengard 2 is not relevant to the story so you can skip that too, but I found Drakengard 3 decent and the characters were funny and the game had good music. Also everyone should experience the pure suffering that is the last Boss. I’ve been asking that question too ...
